Movie Review: Scott Pilgrim vs. the world.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the world.

From the very beginning of the movie, it was obvious that it was based on a graphic novel. The use of still-cuts, fast movements and unique computer graphics made the movie not so out there like some of heavy computer graphic movies. To a certain extent, the movie had its originality and had its own colour, which I normally seek in movies. The movie revolved around the main character, Scott Pilgrim, his friends and his love interests. Following a terrible breakup with a rival musician, Scott was heartbroken and rebounding. As part of his recovery, Scott started dating a 17-year-old high school student (his fake high school girlfriend). Just when things were looking up, he discovered Ramona (the red head), the woman of his dreams. Little did he know that this dream lady had some nightmare history.

The story never stopped surprising me, even when it was being stupid, and a lot of the jokes were fresh and funny. I won't give away any more details, but I definitely think it was worth a watch, and I think I'll remember it for a long time to come.
